Filler, fillers, AKA "dermal fillers," are gel-like substances injected under the skin. The result is a smoother or fuller appearance of your skin, typically used under the lips or face.
Since the body eventually breaks down and absorbs the filler, the treatment is temporary, usually lasting 6-12 months.
Temporary fillers include the following materials:
